What CAN we do right now?

There is so much happening right now that it can be difficult to not be in fear. To me, it feels like the world is in a “reset” mode. Due to the many temporary closures around the world, there are fewer cars, fewer planes, and less pollution … Mother Earth is healing. It’s a time for us to heal and reset too.

It’s more important than ever to show kindness and compassion to all no matter what your beliefs may be around the situation.

A routine practice I use is, when in fear or worry to focus on the things you can do. So what can we do right now?

  1. Reach out to someone that may need something. Remember to use the social quarantine guidelines and maybe drop it on their front porch. Maybe call them as they just need someone to talk to.

  2. If you are in need of something, ask for help. Social Media is a powerful tool!

  3. Focus on what is GOOD in the world rather than the bad.

  4. Catch up on some things you have been putting off.

  5. Take this as an opportunity to bond with your spouse and children with fun activities at home.

  6. Pick up a hobby you haven’t in a while or try a new one.

  7. Meditate and pray and it will calm your nerves and collectively our energy can change the vibration of the world.

  8. Read a book

  9. Rest! The world is so busy, it feels like it’s trying to tell us all we need to rest.

  10. Write letters or send cards to your loved ones.

  11. Have a book inside of you? Start writing!

  12. Get out in nature and go for a walk.

  13. Take a bath

  14. Color and or Journal

  15. Spring clean and clear out clutter

  16. Learn something new. There are all kinds of online courses and videos on YouTube.

  17. Organize your files/pictures on your computer

  18. Make a list of all the things you are grateful for

  19. Get your taxes done

  20. Play with your kids

  21. Exercise

  22. Get creative in the kitchen, make up a recipe with stuff you have on hand

  23. Organize your pantry, closet, or drawers

  24. Don’t let others steal your joy

  25. If you find yourself feeling frustrated or overwhelmed, maybe it’s time to turn off the TV and social media

No matter what you do, be sure to take care of YOUR mind, body, and spirit!

I love to use channel energy through creativity and recently created two coloring books. There are many types of mandalas and in these adult coloring books, you will find many healing mandalas. Healing mandalas are more intuitive than teaching mandalas, and they are made for the purpose of meditation.  

Healing mandalas are intended to deliver wisdom, evoke feelings of calm, and channel focus and concentration. As you are coloring, tap into the energy of the image.

Pay close attention to what thoughts or feelings that come up during the process. Take your time with the image and note what is coming up for you on the journal page. You will be amazed at the energy you transmute from your body. Do this on a regular basis and you will feel a real shift in your life.

I channeled so many images that there were too many for just one book. There are two volumes of this coloring book, and who knows … more may follow.
